Teresa grew up on the family's generational farmstead in the rolling hills of Nebraska which encompasses the "Outlaw Trail." Working by her father's side on horseback and tractor, Teresa received a valuable education on hard work and responsibility.

Her mother offered musical influence. Teresa picked up the guitar and developed a style uniquely her own and has been affectionately called Nebraska's Prairie Pearl.

Teresa's stories and Western Music reflect history, family and humor. Her song, A Long, Long, Long Way to Go, was the selected music of Dave Higgins' NETV documentary of Nebraska Outlaw, Doc Middleton.
