Composers: “When the Bloom is on the Sage,” “Mellow Mountain Moon,” “Me & My Burro, “My Dear Old Arizona Home,” “The Old Black Mountain Trail,” “Rock Me to Sleep in My Rocky Mountain Home,” “By a Window at the End of the Lane,” “Wonder Valley” and “Strawberry Roan” (co-written with Curly Fletcher).  This duo was very popular in the 1930s, and their compositions, some of which became standards, were recorded commercially and/or on transcriptions in the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s by Gene Autry, Jimmy Wakely, Rex Allen, The Sons of the Pioneers, Andy Parker & the Plainsmen and others.
