Billy Beeman played in the music field for nearly seven decades. He was truly a one-of-a-kind fiddler. Influenced greatly by Bob Wills, he later shared the spotlight with such greats as the Paul Whiteman Orchestra, the Original Dixieland Band, Eddie Foy & The Seven Little Foys, Kay Kyser, Patsy Montana, Tex Williams, Roy Rogrs, and Eddie Dean, to mention but a few.

Billy and his family were a guiding influence in bringing Western Music to Knott’s Berry Farm in Anaheim, California and contributed to continuing Western Music tradition on the radio throughout the 1930s and 40s.

Billy and his brother Bobby were a major force in the creation of the Western Music Association. Throughout the ten-year history of the Association’s festivals, Billy was an annual headliner for many of the concerts. Chronicles of an Old West Fiddler, Billy’s autobiography, documents the extensive career of this wonderful man and spellbinding fiddle player.
