Miska Paget and her husband, Keith, live on a 21 acre ranch in Williamson Valley (Prescott), Arizona with 10 horses, a mule, 5 dogs, 2 goats, a really odd looking alpaca, a barn cat and a 500 pound pet pig named Pigsqueak. With a career as a large animal veterinarian spanning over two decades and a lifetime of experience as a horse woman, Miska brings a unique perspective to her cowgirl poetry. Ranging from whimsical and somewhat silly to heartfelt, her poetry often takes turns and twists that are rather unexpected and may have you chuckling, or swallowing hard with a knot in your throat. She writes about what she knows and loves: animals, her husband, and the Western way of life. Miska expects to have her first CD project finished by late summer of 2020.
