Mark is an award recipient with 35 years in the entertainment business. His titles have included managing an international Artist, Marketing Manager in Club Industry & Entertainment Manager. Mark has also been on the committee of the largest Independent Country Music Festival in the world at the time. Mark is the current Australian Peoples Choice DJ Award winner in 2025.

In 2017, Mark Eckel was presented a ‘Lifetime Radio Award’ & ‘National Legend Award’ by Tasmanian Independent Awards in Australia.

With @Star Central Marketing arm Mark provides a weekly Top 20 Country Singles Chart as well as the Top20 Alternate Music Chart.

Mark presents ‘Oz Country Breakfast’ radio show, heard weekdays. Including producing 'The Hitz Show' which has been airing for more than 35 years across a commercial & community radio station continuously.
